mixed experience despite claims of luxury
chlorine smell slow staff
I found some issues . the steam room and lockers were in terrible condition, a disappointment considering the claims of wellness. the spa smelled strongly of chlorine. i also found breakfast to be a low point. Rock music was playing loudly and the staff were slow and dismissive. many stood around chatting as if it were a frat house, it was strange, we were told to get sides ourselves.

needed refurbishment stained pillowcase
the location seemed fine for getting around.
The room wasn't great. It needed some work. housekeeping didn't even clean it on the first day. i asked for new bedsheets, they only changed the duvet cover but the pillowcase still had stains, so i had to ask again.

really good stay
attentive staff lovely pool functional gym
i stayed for four nights and felt very special. the staff was kind and attentive. i found the pool and spa lovely. the gym included necessary equipment.
the room temperature was difficult to adjust to a comfortable level , but i did not ask for assistance.

the buffet breakfast offered many delicious options , beautifully presented. eggs were made to order and the coffee tasted wonderful. room service was very efficient with good presentation.

the hotel location provided easy access to barangaroo and the rocks. i found it very quiet, though it was still near the city. the area felt safe and secure at all times.

the bathroom was large with a separate shower and bathtub. the coffee machine was a welcome addition. the bedroom was very spacious with a king bed and very comfortable pillows.

beautiful view helpful recommendation private boat
The room was beautiful. I had a beautiful view of darling harbor. the staff provided helpful recommendations for meals. the concierge booked dinner reservations within walking distance and arranged a private boat ride.
there was mould behind the shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom. the second wash basin was clogged. it did not drain properly.
